Resolve has a slow way to develop new tools for colorgrading. The X-Grade system has figured out method for developers to create custom UI experiences free from the limitations of Resolve’s Systems. Grade live like normal with an active sync so that the changes you make in the custom ui show up instantly on your calibrated monitor.

One of the first tools in the X-Grade System is a major improvement over Chroma Warp and is definitely inspired by Baselight’s tools. Draw strokes, Set pins and instantly control your image. With a UI Set in an opponent colour space with easily manipulate your image’s saturation, chrominance & exposure with intuitive controls.
